Girls Beginner 1&2 are hour long class for girls to learn basic skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor, along with jumping on the trampoline. All classes begin with a stretch to warm-up and also practice flexibility, and end with strengthening (“conditioning”) exercises, such as push-ups, chin-ups, and sit-ups. Evaluations (“skill charts”) are given to students on a regular basis so they and their parents can keep track of their progress.
Girls Intermediate 3&4 are hour long classes for girls. Once they have mastered the skills in Beginner 2, their coach will invite them to move up to this level. The gymnasts will work on intermediate level basic skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor, along with flexibility and conditioning. Evaluations (“skill charts”) are given to students on a regular basis so they and their parents can keep track of their progress.
